Use of Cookies

When you visit 2GC’s web site, you can surf the site anonymously and access information without revealing your identity.

In order to improve our site, we use “cookies” to track your visit.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as a temporary identification card, recording information about your current visit and any long-term preferences you asked us to set for the site. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can change these settings, and ask your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it.

2GC stores some temporary 'session' cookies on your computer when you visit to 2GC web site, these do not identify you personally, will delete themselves after a time (most within an hour of your visit) and you can delete these cookies directly at any time.

2GC also requests your permission to store some 'performance cookies' on your computer. These help 2GC keep track of the kind of users who visit our site, but as our method of doing this involves using a third-party service, we ask your permission before we authorise use of this service to track your visit.  You can change your preference at any time using the controls below, and you can delete the cookies stored by our analytics service provider at any time yourself through your browser.

If you have any questions about our cookie policies please get in touch, we will be pleased to help in any way we can.
